The MC getting kicked out of his party seems like it’s becoming a trend these days.

There’s even a new manga called “The Hero Took Everything from me, so I Partied with the Hero’s Mother!”

….I kid you not.

Ohms Nuttachai • 1 year ago

I blame Shield Hero for starting the trend. And, as you might have guessed, 80% of the stories following this formula are either meh or downright trashes.

David Anthony Hart • 1 year ago

No blame unoriginal artists that cant come up with a new idea, & blame the Companies that take intellectual freedoms from their employees & force them to work on shitty anime with a catch phrase for a title.

Noah Winns-Cromer • 1 year ago

And also blame the FANS who keep praising and make excuses for anime like this and the unoriginal artists who make s*** like this.

MeguminExplosion • 1 year ago

you know what's funny is this comment and then you see this MF next week on ep 2 and then all the way at the last episode. This the type of guy to eat food at a restaurant, call the waiter and complain, while licking the plate clean. I mean what's the 3 episode rule anyway?

Hikotan • 1 year ago

This is a pirate website, no one's paying, so there's no loss in shitting on something every week. A better metaphor would be taking food from a restaurant, shitting on it every week, and leaving it on the window sill. Which is pretty based if the food is shit.

MeguminExplosion • 1 year ago

Thats kinda fucked up bruh
Chefs and studios have feelings. I think AOT MAPPA's director got depressed after all the sh*t comments he received despite the anime being quite well done.

Hikotan • 1 year ago

They could try making the food less shit.

Taggedin • 1 year ago

well it also was the cause of an upgrade in the CGI for AOT. Think about one piece, it would still be shit, like it was for idk 10ish years if the dbsuper guys didn't take over after so many people complained. Also think about the legacy those shows now have, one piece will forever be stained by pretty shitty animation and horrible pacing that lasted at least 400 episodes if not more if you want to count arcs before the time skip (which i would), unless its remade, which might happen, might not.

MeguminExplosion • 1 year ago

one piece is not getting remade. Over a few salty bros.

Taggedin • 1 year ago

well, it is one of the most popular anime of all time so i would say its likely in the next 20-30 yrs it will. Sorry but that's showbiz. especially if there is room for improvement, which there is since they held off on filler so its not like naruto where you just skip it and its decent.

Jakk Frost • 1 year ago

Well at least Naruto had filler you could actually skip, unlike OP which artificially inflates the story to stretch out the material like a gomu gomu no fuusen. I mean, OP literally had an entire episode that encompassed 10 seconds of in-universe time.

And you can't skip it because you might miss 5 frames of crucial development.

Taggedin • 8 months ago

for sure, thats what I always tell people when they want to start one piece and they say "oh i hear theres a lot of filler" then I have to explain that there is no filler, just added fluff and bullshit like peoples reactions to shit.

Taggedin • 1 year ago

also one piece is still meh, pacing wise, but every so often there is some dope ass animation that makes me wonder how they are doing this every week. so all the complaining and critiquing ppl do, does matter, and does amount to an improvement in the overall quality of media released, if ppl didnt complain, basically everything that was bad and is good now, would still be bad

Captain trips • 1 year ago

That would be based lol

FlyGuy2077 • 1 year ago

We're paying with time, something we'll never get back.

Mega-Chad-Type-Hero • 1 year ago

Are we really using our «time» wisely though ?

Then there are those of us with or have had parents who tell us things like...:
«If you have nothing to do then I'll FIND something for you to do !»
...normally entailing...
➔ Washing the Dishes
➔ Sweeping the Floor
➔ Mopping the Floor
➔ Vacuuming the Carpet
➔ Mowing the Lawn
➔ Watering the Plants
➔ Polishing the Furniture
➔ Washing the Windows
➔ Cleaning the Toilet/Shower
➔ Making the Beds
➔ Taking Out the Garbage
➔ Scrubbing the Deck
➔ Folding the Clothes
➔ Hanging Up the Laundry
➔ Wiping the Dishes
➔ Washing the Car
➔ Sweeping the Garage
➔ Retrieving the Mail
➔ etc.

Dark Blood • 1 year ago

What's wrong with someone helping their parents?
It's your duty. Don't complain.

Mega-Chad-Type-Hero • 1 year ago

Yes, nothing wrong with helping out, and, performing one's duty, but, I guess this actually lacked full-context.

The issues arise when, even after helping out with all of these chores, each and every day (for the dailies), and every week (for the weeklies), and, getting Straight-A's in school, all done without fail, for over a whole entire year, for those whose parents still continue to be violently unreasonable. Various examples exist in Daniel Mackler's book : Breaking From Your Parents

For someone whose parents were constantly telling their teenager that the teenager is bad, deserved to be punished, was always blamed for everything that went wrong in the house-hold no matter what (even when it was actually caused by those parents who themselves eventually divorced from one another), only for the teenager to later on realise that, upon hearing the words of a hero on the screen one day, that, said teenager, too, also never engaged in smoking nor using drugs and didn't even date, was getting extremely good grades in school, and, was most-certainly not hanging out with bad people, nor stealing cars, nor robbing banks or joining gangs or any of those ridiculous things that their ridiculously unreasonable parents may have been accusing them of as they lash out with «DON'T LIE ! TELL US WHAT YOU WERE *REALLY* DOING!!!» (even if/when it was an HONEST answer of staying after school to get homework done before returning) followed by being chased around the house in order to be hit/whipped (perhaps even threatened with a knife in their hand) ...well, what can I say, corrupt-cops are also like this, even when obeying/complying, following all orders, yet, they accuse people of crimes anyway that they did not commit, hell, frequently «Fearing for their lives» and «thought that they had a gun» then simply shooting & killing them anyway, even when they did not commit any actual offense...

(Note : I removed the first paragraph out of what I was originally responding with due to Disqus' tendency to over-react to detailed messages.)

Anyway, nothing to worry about on my end, for, I already have most of nearly all of my life-problems solved; certainly, this was not an over-night process, but, learning as much as I did about para-psychology has most-certainly led me towards far purer truths than anything I could have ever gotten out of any public-schools or churches or materialist-oriented self-proclaimed secular-institutions. Interactions with mother are now actually quite decent after I had done a type of modern-day exorcism in order to purge/expunge her soul of all deceitful/manipulative-spirits that had been heavily influencing/subjugating her mind... before that it was impossible to communicate without constant argumentum-ad-infinitum (a significant reason why I cut off all communication in the first instance, for, one cannot recover from poisons/toxins when one will not remove himself from the very environment that is having toxic/poisonous-effects upon him after all, metaphorically speaking).

Anybody who struggles, well, the one book that really got me started on a path of True-Wisdom is titled...
«You Cannot Die : The Incredible Findings of a Century of Research on Death» (Author - Ian Currie)

I highly recommend everybody get and read a copy of said aforementioned book, then, double-check all of the references, reading all of the works of the various doctors/scientists/researchers/etc. who are mentioned within said book (and don't bother wasting time on the pseudo-skeptic authors as those self-proclaimed «skeptics» are neither genuine skeptics nor honest as is explained/described in detail via Chris Carter's book... «Science & Psychic Phenomena : Fall of the House of Skeptics» and I also recommend all of Chris Carter's publications on the subject of para-psychology... make sure it's the same author and not some guy from a church with the same name as him).

Dark Blood • 1 year ago

Yup, I didn't understand a single thing lol

Mega-Chad-Type-Hero • 1 year ago

Alright, then, I guess now I can (and shall) include the original first paragraph...:

Bad Parenting is very common-place; Materialist-Ideologies (i.e. : placing profits before people) are also very common-place; Culture does not matter since the whole entire world follows the same system/rules of Corporatocracy (the Legalese-system being the exact same structure no matter where on earth one is located). I should probably also briefly mention that both step-fathers are already deceased anyway (the former from a heart-attack whilst I was at a boot-camp and the latter from renal-failure whilst he was on hospice for cancer shortly after being taken off from dialysis not long after he had been put through chemo-radiation; the latter at least eventually acknowledged my capabilities & being able to make my own best decisions for myself rather than trying to cram their ways/ideas/philosophies/etc. down my throat, even though I could only describe him as Mr.-I'm-a-doctor-and-have-five-degrees-so-I'm-obviously-better-and-smarter-than-you-attitude prior to that happening; long story but, partly because I not only intellectually tore him a new one in a detailed letter before cutting off all contact with them for a decade, I sent proof/evidence during that time of achieving whole entire «Straight-A's Semesters» even whilst I was living as a homeless-orphan, obviously being careful not to reveal my location nor which college/university I was attending, forcing him to realise that their decisions were really not the best for my life even though it is common-place for parents to think that they know better or best and should be making all of the decisions for their [step-]sons and/or [step-]daughters).

FlowingWolf • 1 year ago

As an asian, I assure you I've already done everything on that list. Or at least things that apply to the house I'm living in. We dont have a car and a lawn.

vovan1 • 1 year ago

My parents don't ask for this, i just come over and take care of this, Cause they are already too old to do it by themselves.

Taggedin • 1 year ago

almost all of those things are menial tasks that amount to nothing, those are things you should be doing while also doing other things, like if your not doing those things while listening to new music or exploring some dumb podcast, you are genuinely wasting time and probably ruining your memory and losing brain cells by virtue of not gaining them while multitasking, and yes scientists have proven you can gain/regenerate brain cells

Mega-Chad-Type-Hero • 1 year ago

Multi-Tasking is actually less productive (and less efficient) than focusing on one task at a time, and, yes, scientists have proven that water contains memory (water is a liquid-form of crystal after all; a CD, Compact-Disc, is just a flat piece of plastic...crystal after all, yet, has enough data-storage capacity to contain movies, mp3s, mp4s, etc.).

Science also makes some people behave in very bizarre manners as is described in the article titled : «How The Skeptics Lost Their Minds Over a Precognition Experiment»

Taggedin • 8 months ago

Multi-tasking is less productive if it is an intensive task, like holding a conversation while doing something is hard, listening and analyzing music while doing dishes is easy because one of those tasks is involved while the other is very minimal. Overall, you shouldn't multi-task, thats not really what i meant, I meant if you are doing a menial thing, you can. I am not going to learn guitar while holding a conversation or making a pie or something.

Mega-Chad-Type-Hero • 1 year ago

That's right, now, stop watching animé like those lazy people, and, get back to work...! ;O

No Life King • 1 year ago

I'm a hard working adult and I just happen to enjoy watching anime in my spare time, I don't have time for friends hence no life.

Mega-Chad-Type-Hero • 1 year ago

Very well, but, plenty of automation-technologies now exist to be able to free up much more time (automatic robot-vacuums being a basic example). Also, with 70+ years worth of Scientific-Progress (supposedly) and Technological-Advancements (supposedly), one could come to the logical-conclusion that Productive-Capability should be through the roof, and, extremely abundance for everyone, but, the reality is instead...

«I don't want a nation of critical-thinkers. I want a nation of obedient-workers.» -John D. Rockefeller

«You know what they want? They want obedient workers. Obedient workers, people who are just smart enough to run the machines and do the paperwork. And just dumb enough to passively accept all these increasingly shittier jobs with the lower pay, the longer hours, the reduced benefits, the end of overtime and vanishing pension that disappears the minute you go to collect it. And now they're coming for your Social Security money. They want your f**kin' retirement money. They want it back so they can give it to their criminal friends on Wall Street.» -George Carlin (2005)

funny thing is what he said is actualy true while youre "metaphor" dont make sense and what your wasting is your time. get a life

Noah Winns-Cromer • 1 year ago

Has it ever occured to you MAYBE some of us, myself included, just simply want a decent anime, and not the same copy and paste crap we've been seeing the last few years?

MeguminExplosion • 1 year ago

That whole first sentence is subjective. I have never seen someone complain this hard about anime.

In fact, even a regular live action tv show doesnt get this critical. No movie critique or rotton tomato review by far has gone out and said a unconstructive comment such as "we just want a decent show". Usually if people say these comments they get met with WHY DONT YOU MAKE AN ORIGINAL SHOW if you think you can do it better.

You dont want copy pasta? Well sh*t guess every shounen anime, bleach, naruto, black clover, hunter x hunter is copy pasta.

Every sunrise mech anime must also copied code geass too while we are at it. Every time traveler anime must have copied Steins Gate. Hell, summer rendering and tokyo revengers must be one of these trash copy pastas you speak of.

If I could give a gogo award or reddit medal, I would nominate you for biggest 🤡 of the year.

You need to look inwards and reflect and ask yourself why everything you view and see outside your box is negative. Because anime is like music. There is a limited amount of notes, rhythms that can be rearranged. There is no infinite amount of originality. Most music and anime today is inspired or based off another's similar work.

Hisoka freecs • 1 year ago

Dude that guy Noah is the biggest hypocrite. Only when it’s convenient for him kinda a Attitude. I’m glad you called him out on In before I did

he always has been like that also worse part is mf crying when he gets down-vote lol I seen him crying on gogo discord

Noah Winns-Cromer • 1 year ago

Only because, IDK, maybe it's something to do with being unfairly targeted for having an opinion. You ain't much better yourself.
Justifying my being silenced and whatnot. How would YOU feel in you were in my shoes, hmm? Would your tune be any different had it been anyone else?
You could have 6 people trashing a generic isekai and not even bat an eye their way once, but as soon as I give out my 2 cents, here you are, on my case.

bla bla bla u think u are the only one who gets target for down-votes? I got target for few times in the past I just simply ignore the down-votes I didn't went around begging for discord admins to ban the down-voters and another thing is u just keep trashing the entire anime from episodes 1 till the end of the anime thats nt healthy or normal you could hv trash the anime and drop it, but no I choose to keep trashing the anime and worse part is u even trash the ppl who enjoy those animes

Ryou Nin • 1 year ago

Bruh nobody likes haters especially on things that they like, so I suggest either just leave and don't comment if you hate something or if you really can't hold it back just say whatever you want and do not reply to any feedbacks that you get. It's your opinion not theirs, really what's the point of arguing with someone you've never even met OR might never ever meet at all.

Dbz Directioner • 1 year ago

I agree everyone has a right to their Opinion. You are free like things and Dislike them that doesn't make you a hater. I myself like to read your comments cause it gives a Different Perspective.

Noah Winns-Cromer • 1 year ago

Really? Tell me, what EXACTLY have I said and done to be the "biggest hypocrite"?
